OUR MISSON
where we are going
If you are going to jump in a boat, you better know where it is going! The Church of Jesus Christ all over the earth has had the same mission for 2,000 years. Jesus makes it clear in Mark chapter sixteen and Acts chapter one. We are to go everywhere and be witnesses to what Christ did for us to everyone. Then, we are to make disciples and baptize those who believe! That's the mission. That is where we are going! So, how do we interpret that mission here at Community Church?
We exist to CREATE CHRIST CENTERED, CULTURE CHANGING COMMUNITY!
OUR STRATEGY

Creating takes intentional effort. So, this is a goal, a mission, a destination that requires a strategy.
Our strategy has three parts:

Grow

Impact
You have to connect to grow, and the more you grow the more you impact the world around you!
Read John 15:1-17 and you will see this strategy at work!
Definitions:
Culture: Everything we do, read, see, speak, and think.
Christ-Centered Culture: When everything we do, read, see, speak and think is done to God's glory and in pursuit of His mission. -Colossians 3:17
You can have a Christ-centered personal culture. That is the beginning. Culture change starts with ME! But we change the culture around us together.
