Pastors Denny and DeAnza Duron
Senior Pastors - Shreveport Campus

Denny and DeAnza Duron have been the Senior Pastors of Community Church since 1998. They have a heart to see people changed by the power of God and set free to change the world. They preach a powerful message of unity, believing together we can make a difference that is greater than anything we can do alone. Denny Duron has spoken in front of millions of people across the world in festivals, churches, schools, and business seminars. He has also written three different musicals,, two of which are performed annually by the Community Church family, and several plays. He is a prolific writer and composer. His background as a football player and coach helps him to lead while inspiring each individual to personal greatness. DeAnza Duron is a trained musician and toured around the world before marrying Denny and joining his ministry. She has a heart for moms and has written music to help them teach Godly principles to their children. Together, they have seven children, five of whom are married, and five grand-children.

Pastors Phillip and Destiny Deas
Lead Pastors - Northpoint Campus

Phillip Deas has been making disciples since he was eighteen. His greatest joy continues to be seeing people’s lives transformed by the truth of God’s Word and in turn watching them become world changers. A nationally recognized high school football player, Phillip was recruited to UNC and later to Louisiana Tech University. After a career ending injury, he planned to spend his life coaching college football. God had other plans. In 2001, he joined the Community Church staff as a youth pastor. Since then, he has held a variety of titles including associate pastor, Dean of Students at Evangel Christian Academy, and Head Coach of the Evangel Eagles. In 2004, Phillip married Destiny Duron. Together they have visited over 25 different countries, preaching in most of them. Phillip and Destiny took over the leadership of the Northpoint campus of Community Church in 2013. They continue to serve the vision of Pastor Denny and DeAnza Duron by expanding the reach of the Community Church family. Phillip and Destiny believe that God has called all of us to be servant leaders inside the church and out. Their mission as a couple and as a church is to create Christ-centered, culture-changing community. They have two adorable daughters, Carolina Lee, Julietta Marie, and one on the way.
